I guess I don't know how to feel I like some of the chat tools especially as like a free write with ideas. That being said none of them are even close to intelligence. I think most of the intelligence we see is a reflection of our selves. We think being great at chess and AI becomes the best at chess. I think extrapolated statistics show things we can only interpret as intelligence because it's to broad for our understanding in other ways. Almost all of these chat models or GPT models use more advanced versions of the statistical ARCH models that originally came from econometrics. LLMs as far as I can discern can be thought of as language calculators.
