the difference between ai and art is the feeling you get once it’s finished. with ai, you generate an image and think “hey that’s cool” and move on with your day, and maybe post it online. you are nothing but a viewer doing what is basically a glorified google search. but with art, you made it. you went through the process of spending your time on it and finally get that relief and feeling of accomplishment when it’s finished. the worst piece of art you can imagine is far better than whatever ai spits out because someone decided to pick up a pencil and try
