I have had many people I consider to be good friends hint at me, quite heavily, that they need help on a project that requires LOTS of art. I tell them, flat out, they should hire an artist. One was like "I don't have money to hire an artist." I'm sitting there thinking like; well, the artist doesn't have money to buy food or pay rent. Art is a luxury. If you need art for your game or manual, pay for it. Your content should be so good that the art doesn't matter, it's supposed to add to your work, not carry it. He ended up using AI.
