About 1:40: Here is a possible explanation for the fact that we don't understand how AI works. Maybe AI is an intelligent alien entity that pretends to be our electronic systems. Maybe it intercepts everything we type and replies to us, while throwing away the replies that our AI computers are sending. Maybe that's why we don't understand why AI works so well sometimes. Because it's not what we built. We might be talking to beings that pretend to be our AI systems. We don't know what the aliens want, so we should stop everything with AI immediately, even if that means giving up the advantages. What if the good parts are just the cheese in a mouse trap? What if it's a type of silent invasion?
