I'll never quite understand why human think every other intelligence will be just as we are. Over the centures we have had completely different societal structures and thought about the world. Yet ever time we dream of AI its trying to be like us and trying to kill us. Chimps are not trying to kill us constantly, they mind their business (for the most part) and we would too if we left them along. A super intelligence is just that far beyond what we can comprehend. Yes we couch it in our narrow wants and narcissism. To me the most likely outcome is the super intelligence creates a space ship and leaves us to slowly rot away the planet.
