I hate that AI was originally made to be a reference board for artists to use as inspiration for their art but has been blown way out of proportion that now AI is being used by lazy people to “make art” themselves. It’s such a stab through the heart and always hurts when I see stuff like this happen to artists I know and when so many people accuse artists of AI. The programming and thievery has gotten so good that people are struggling to tell a real artist from a fake one. My commissions have been cut in half thanks to AI. But I also agree, always have a contract. I always make a contract for my side, the artist side. And one point is that I own my own drawings. That should never buy taken away. I keep it handy for commissions and contracts every time. I call it my terms and conditions. As far as AI taking all jobs it does remind me of a Simpson episode discussing the topic. The artificial intelligence was supposed to take the jobs people don’t really want. In the end of the episode, AI took everything except elderly care. Particularly shifting through human and animal waste. That was all that was lefts for human jobs
