i was so hopeful and excited when ai began to improve, i thought it could do great things in tandem with people as a tool, filling in those tiny cracks and subtly refining their own creation that the ai only patched up. unfortunately, it seems that people are starting to use the hammer as their only tool to build a house with, and i'm incredibly disappointed in what ai has devolved into.
ai images were never art, just pictures. art is creative and holds a message, pictures exist because someone wanted them to. the people defending these are only ever in it for the validation, they just want the product and never the process. what they forget is the process is much more satisfying than the product; you learn, you adapt, you think, and you speak without tongue. art would never be art if there was never progression, not invention.
