Raw LLM Responses

The Korean government just announced a plan to use AI technology in classrooms and I just can't understand how they could take such a bold stance on it. They say they're going to implement it in the next couple of years, but so much AI generated information is patently false as demonstrated here, how are elementary-level students supposed to be able to tell the information they're getting is real? They want teachers to focus on the emotional and social well-being of students (but that's not really what teachers are trained for, especially subject specialists) but teachers ARE the ones that teach students how to analyze, think critically about, and verify information they're given. Without that human comprehension ability, we're headed for a future where no information is accurate and worse, no one cares. In true Korean government fashion, they did not say they had consulted the teachers union or that they gauged parental interest in this AI future. I predict a massive walk back in the next week or so. Having working in education here for nearly 10 years, it never ceases to surprise me that the government will make such bold announcements while doing such little research. They still use Internet Explorer to run their websites, and the public are supposed to trust that all the problems with AI will just be "taken care of"? Especially when it involves children?
