Testing for bias? What if bias is justified? For example, Islam is a terroristic religion that forbids scientific advancement as they believe God made the world perfect as it is and so any "improvement" is seen as anti-God. At least certain sects of Islam, like Sunni.
What if they fed the AI program crime statistics in the US based upon racial makeup?
The truth is, our world is filled with rational conclusions that would appear as "bias". I am biased against psychopaths, biased against pedophiles, biased against murderers. Attempting to rid any entity of "bias" would require actively programming them to not view the world as it is.
