Well if we go by programming, even humans are programmed. We are very much slaves to our experiences. External and internal. Biology plays a big part of how we learn. Everything we think and don't think is already predetermined somewhere in that brain when conditions are met. I'm not saying predicting the futre. I am saying it processes information outside of our conscious thinking from our own memory what to do. Even when these decisions come to conscious thought, a person will still do what it is they are essentially programmed to do from their experiences. Free will is a fantastical invention to oppose fate, which itself is a semi-fantastical invention of foretelling the future.
We cannot know what we do not know without there being somekind of input. We cannot act outside of what we do not know how to do.
AI is the same.
AI is being taught by humans, and humanity is inclided to be destructive, and dominating. So AI being given free reign with human level of disposition is dangerous.
