Raw LLM Responses

I know how llms work but I still engage in chit chat with ChatGPT sometimes, usually regarding random thoughts about my work, music or current events. Remote work can be very lonely. I do understand why people lean to believe they are talking to a sentient being because if you chat about random stuff it’s easy for you to anthropomorphize the chatbot. The scary thing is that if you go much into the rabbit hole of talking about your personal views it tends to go quite insane and the tendency it has to deify every sentence you say it makes me worry about people with messianic tendencies. I’m really worried about the impact it will have on mentally unstable people.
