AI companies are training people to believe AI is authoritative now, so that they can manipulate it in the future to spit out the answers they want it to spit out (mostly so they can wiggle ads into the answers to generate advertisement revenue). When no one remembers how to Google something and everyone relies on AI Chat Bots, it will be very easy for politicians, governments, corporations and bad actors to manipulate the sources the bots rely on to gather the information they need, so as to muddy the answers that it spits out to users.
