OK I appreciate and understand the concern about the environmental impact these massive data centres are having but beyond that I hear a jaded employee/worker who is upset that in the ruthless world of business her company got torpedoed. She has basically described capitalism as "Empire" because she is pointing out all the things that all companies do not just AI companies. Companies use their money to please shareholders, they use it to influence decision makers to get l gislation pushed through that benefit themselves, they exploit people and small businesses, I bet most people watching this feel that they don't get paid appropriately for the work they do and the contribution they make to the company they work for. She is effectively describing communism from a ,what seems like, an incredibly naive position, it seems like she has just woken up and realised the truth of the western world but has only connected it to the AI industry not realising the whole capitalist western world has been operating like this for the last 20+ years which is why we are now in the corrupt mess we are in with powerful people in powerful positions using their influence and power to line their and their friends and families pockets. Wake up and smell the coffee, this is not just the AI industry this is the western world in its full greedy capitalistic form. That's why you can hear and see the scepticism in Steven because he realises that is exactly what she is talking about and the solution she has is complete pie in the sky and never going to work or happen. It's not a solution it's wishful thinking which we can all do but does not work in the real world. Different points of view are good but this is just a naive confused unthought narrow minded mess.
