I have visual hyperphantasia, but I can't separate out any of the detail or hold anything in a refrence perspective, which ends up me being able to create detailed pencil sketches with very hashed lines, but your early 'bad' drawings seem confusingly complicated to draw to me. Stick figures are almost worse! So there is a kind of frustrating difference in how available tutorials cater to people, just magically turning random shapes into images in a way that I could probably replicate by rote but makes no actual sense, wheras I need to build an image detail by detail to lock the rotation in place, then figure out where the hell lines go to actually turn out reconizable when curved surfaces arent lines. Its a different thinking style that isn't really catered to. Doesn't justify using ai commercially, but i can understand the frustration of having all these wondrous, vivid ideas locked inside your head and just feeling creatively inadequate when someone swipes their hand and magically makes recognizable shapes when it takes ages to render a pale imitation of your own imagination. Ai isn't a good answer to the issue, but it exists and is accessible.
