AI does not pay taxes, does not pay into Social Security or Medicare or support social programs. Together with mass unemployment, democracy would cease to be, and governments would collapse world wide. Because of that AI will be regulated at some point. Even talk about a UBI for the masses of unemployed is pointless. Who will pay that to millions/billions of people while no money comes in and only a few very rich people pay taxes?
