Psychopathic billionaires can only reason that ai will think like them so draw the conclusion that they will plunder the Earth for all its resources and destroy everything that gets in its way… I would argue that the opposite is more likely. The humans that are enslaving others and destroying the natural world will be stopped and a super intelligence will want to preserve the beauty of the natural world which is infinitely more complex and therefore interesting than money and status.
