Elon had 44 billion to take up the AI safety cause but he bought Twitter instead. I actually think he is just jealous of OpenAI’s success to be honest. If Elon owned Chat-GPT tech he would not be calling for a pause. In any regard, China, North Korea, Russia, terrorist, intel agencies whomever will not pause AI development. For that reason, we have to continue to ensure we have the strongest AI out there to compete/combat other government AIs. The genie is already out of the bottle.
