Art organizations tell themselves they’re effectively fighting this, but I think they’re only catching the most blatant and clumsy AI users. There are going to be infinite ways to use AI undetectably in the creation of artwork, just as the use of photography by artists was kept on the “down low” for the first 100 years or so.
There will no way to discern human ideas from machine ideas, or human skills from technological products… unless Art is reduced to live, proctored events.
