I agree to an extent. Honestly when AI services got popular and there was less drama about it earlier this year I used them for fun. But I did not want to use or keep any of the art results I got just because I value something original from the artist more. Something that I commissioned and they authentically made and are happy about. However I still think AI art will continue growing into a bigger issue, because depending on the purpose for the art, people really don't care whether it is AI generated or not.
