Why is everyone treating this like an us vs them thing? GenAI is a tool like a camera is a tool. You can use it to copy a style in the same way that you can use a camera to copy the whole image. But that's not the only way it is used. It is, for example, great for throwing out hundreds of variations of an idea very quickly, to figure out which concepts are worth investigating further. Trying to destroy the whole tool just because some people abuse it goes a bit far IMO.
FWIW, I'm perfectly fine with poisoning your images, while visibly declaring that you don't want them used in AI training (not sure if Instagram has a machine-readable tag for that; Deviantart does). It's your art, you can do with it whatever you like (though it's a bit like smashing the camera of someone who takes a photo of you or your art). But actively trying to smuggle poisoned images into training sets crosses the line from self-defense to vandalism. At that point, you're smashing cameras of random people just because they could in principle use them to photograph you or your art.
