AI code usually works and you don’t have to pay anyone to do it. Those are the only two priorities that big biz has with AI. They don’t care about readability or maintainability, the people making these decisions don’t have the first idea how code is actually written. They will force AI on the world. It might write bad code, but nobody cares about bad code but the nerds. Being concerned with code quality costs money, so they won’t do it.
