Ok... the scanned information 100% copyright violations and should be criminally charged, and those who knowingly profited from it as well (Open ai shared the information shared from Meta and their subsidies who stole the info... this information circulated with numerous ai platforms)... personally, given the amount of companies who have received this data... ai should be owned by the society or grant financial awards to all cheated parties. This is huge... it is immeasurable at this point from my perspective. However, I do also see that sharing everything on line, so long as you're citing or not copying the information (say for example pictures)... it does allow for better problem solving skills; however, the current biases of the educational institutions, government and more all end up in the work too (example: a left leaning educational institution only promotes left leaning research). Narratives on top of the truth problems. Back on topic, let's say I need to help my economy and solve farming issues... without data... resolving these issues will take a considerable amount of time.. and perhaps it should. Morally, this is a really dark grey issue. If people actually make ai ethical as a foundation.. the entire story shifts.
