The Genie is out of the bottle now. I understand any AI is mostly a mosaic of images it has in a massive database, that is sieves through with various filters and noise to be able to recognise it at different quality levels, but then again we work in a similar way ourselves. The computer has the advantage of a pixel perfect memory though. It's a tough one, on one side defo going to be using peoples work, but on the other people do that all the time subconsciously, it's just not as obvious. I still think at this stage an artist would be a better option for anyone wanting professional quality work.
Oh watched the rest of the video. That is horrible and definitely not okay. One thing a general AI scraping the media, but another entirely when people make specific sets to simulate your work! I can only say to take it as a compliment to your work. People these days have no affinity with the amount of work that can be involved with any art or media and tend to take it for granted.
