The Buddha taught cause and effect (kamma), impermanence (anicca), suffering (dukkha), and non-self (anattā)—truths that can be realized and verified by anyone through practice. This is why Buddhism is respected worldwide as both a profound spiritual path and a complete way of life. To say it is ‘not a religion’ because we don’t believe in a god is a misunderstanding—Buddhism goes beyond worship; it leads to liberation.
