Around the time that this video was posted, a similar scandal happened at a cultural event/festival in my country. There are some cosplayers who created an account to promote 3D printed products. They printed AI posters and stole artworks without permission and literally made profit out of many AI products and stolen work. So many people got tricked and still believe they are artists (the account literally has ART in their name despite the fact that it was NOT ART at all.) I dmed them about along with a few artists and they didn't answer so we decided to expose them publicly. Because of the public pressure they 'apologized' for the stolen worked and dmed the original artists at the end of the event. The account NEVER adressed the ai allegations and I'm afraid they will continue with their bs. The event NEVER banned them either so they definietly care about profit rather than community. One thing I noticed in the account's apology was that 'they didn't have time to do research on the artists' or 'we wanted to fulfill all the requests from our followers for merch' which genuienly proves that they care about quantity rather than quality and don't care about artists. It is foul and disgusting and they will definietly continue. It is scary to see this thing happening and I hope that more events take this more seriously.
