I think Altman didn't have a choice but to align with the current administration because, if he didn't, they would impede on Open AI's growth and give breaks to a different company that might have even worse leadership issues. I think all tech leaders have to align with what ever leadership is in office at any given time. The problem isn't Altman, it's the people who vote bad people into government
