Why can't AI write a multi-architecture optimizing C++ compiler? The C++ standards document lays things out in excruciating detail. There are BNF grammars available, man pages, and discussion boards. Similarly, every computer architecture has extensive documentation on assembly language, and optimization areas such as clock cycles, memory behavior (in terms of cycles), etc. etc. Is this because AI doesn't have knowldege or judgement? Why can't that information be inferred from the vast amount of discussions and textbooks that cover the C++ programming language? Thank you.
