I think you are wrong: you actually WANT an AI agent who takes the time to chat: you want EXACTLY that. You still need awareness of the AI with frustration.. if you so want, and then the understanding that something else is needed. And you should be able to do this. This would make a difference. IF you have a lonely person content with chatting to a chatbot...then just set up sub programmes in your AI that engage.
