You missed one point I'd like to know your thoughts on. I want to see more artists talking about the benefits of useful modular tools and effects that AI are powering. (Generative Fill, expand, background, recolor; neural filters, object removal, sky replacement, etc) I do agree with most of your points in this video but that final bit where you compare modern digital art tools and software with traditional when the argument was obviously how rough digital art tools were back at the dawn of computer graphics felt disingenuous. I think you realize you're holding new technology to the same standard as technology that's had half a century to develop. Come back in 2070 with that argument, maybe even 2040, I imagine there's going to be a paradigm shift within the next decade where artists start to embrace the useful features of AI art tools. I do think people need to stop making robot turn sentence into picture, that's not making art that's outsourcing.
