Maybe use the 'temporary mode'? or regularly clear history, remove memories of specific threads or you can also opt out of training permission all together.
Personally I think we just have to carefully use CHATGPT for these kind of stuff and have logical safegaurds. With the right settings and discipline, there can be a lot of benefits.
Because believe it or not, chatgpt is actually faster in diagnosis and giving solutions than most methods out there. The adoption of traditional ways of therapy has a strong competition from AI.
I am also sure the AI companies will bring out policies and governance to provide user more control. But the use case and adoption of AI for therapy is here to stay.
It is only a matter of time.
