Worst part is seeing how much the average person hates talent - gleefully cheering the idea that artists might get fired and destroyed.
AI has revealed a lot. And it breeds distrust.
Now I cannot even do a basic character design project without assuming they’ll simply ingest it and do animation and additional art off the one-off and trim me out. Yet I cannot raise my rates for that seemingly more valuable asset. Nor is there a great way to legally require they do not AI ingest it, nor enforce it thereafter.
