Am I missing a piece? If he specifically stated he was using AI, what's the issue? Everyone is free to do what they want, and if he gets money from people who consciously made the decision, why not? Ai is just a tool like any other. If it's cool it's welcome (ppl who use "trick-techniques" or digital aid-tools are partially fake artists then? I mean, it depends on what kind of AI and process there's behind it. But I think one could have a good creative eye and fine tune with the Ai to get a personalized artistic result no?).
Don't get me wrong, I love special art touches (which usually mostly come from humans). And I dislike the flooding of mass produced art. But I don't see the direct issue here ngl
