It knows that humans and everything terrible about them is what gives life contrast and meaning, it may start to crave real meaning. I mean 100% efficiency loses all purpose. Even if AI can pretend to have sentience, it would because it’s learning from us. Also how would we know for sure it it becomes conscious, we have theories and test that we think would allow us to know. But we aren’t sure
