Appreciate you making this video Gabi! Your first video was good too but I appreciate you doing this and showing empathy for the artists in the comments (I hope nothing anyone said was too harsh). Ultimately it seems like AI will have a massive impact on the future of creative industries and change is always scary, and the ethics around it are something we are all trying to figure out, and since artists are used to being disrespected and under appreciated it’s Easy for us to feel hopeless (I’m actively choosing to NOT feel hopeless cuz…that’s all I can do LMAO) The hardest part of any rising technology/innovation, for me, is always the immediate understanding that it will be used by greedy corporations to lowball/replace creatives as much as possible in order to cut costs in the name of profit and “efficiency”. if it weren’t for ~capitalism~ AI could be such a cool and useful tool for EVERYONE (esp if artists received royalties for their work everytime it was used by the program or something like that) anyways thanks again for putting in the effort to see other perspectives AND make another video so quickly. I hope you won’t be too hard on yourself for any critiques you got; this wild tech in a wild time and we all have different ideas of how it can be good or bad and you were just covering in an interesting topic; I think you did a good job of showing you were open minded about it, and this video proves that as well. Sorry for the long comment! I just love your videos and happy to see you finally blowing up this year so I hope covering this whole AI topic hasn’t caused too much stress. You’re doing amazing 🎉
