There's a lot of emotional bs surrounding the ai art generation. Here's the thing, 'lets see if we can beat the ai' is a trash take. Make art, not because you want to outdo a computer, not because you want to impress other people, but because you want to make art. There are too many people who take their hobbies and monetize them or take them to social media for clout rather than enjoying the learning and perfecting of those hobbies. Begining this video with tears and begging your audience to be upset against ai and to side with 'humans' does not actually value the art - it shows that you are completely tied up with a deep desire for validation for the art you produce. I have many hobbies - widdling, cardistry, cooking, baking, roasting coffee, poetry, wood burning, rock sculpting, and a few others that I do for myself and for my friends and family. But the 'better version' Im trying to pursue is never in relation to someone or something else, it is always, and forever will be, my skill and knowledge with each improvement i make as I achieve what I wasnt previously capable of.
