This Zuckerberg is so so wrong. He either doesnt know how AI works or deliberately support this theory in order to gather investors money. AI can not replace middle level software engineers, since todays AIs are LLMs. They can not reason or invent code. They can generate code BASED on their training set. If their training set is missing wanted code context - the AIs are technically unable to generate code. That's why Copilot-s, Cursor-s, Windsurf-s appeared - to steal your code. As much they steal - better they can generate 'common code'. But think about it - when new tech stacks come and new areas are programmed - AI is helpless and rely on YOU to use AI tools, so they can steal your code and update their AI...
Zuck do not care if millions of people will become jobless. He care to earn some more millions. But what if 50% of jobs for example are replaced by AI ? From who he will earn more money???
