Pretty sure plenty of software developers and engineers have been saying for a long time that the current state of AI isn’t capable of replacing humans at the levels a lot of company suits think it can. AI can help reduce time for certain projects and is currently best suited as a tool. But I think a lot of people see the higher usage of automation machines that help reduce the cost and time of manual labor tasks and automatically contribute that to AI being able to do everything.
