Sam Altman is a false prophet. He’s hyping up AI to the moon (because he has no choice as he has so much investment riding on his vision being “the vision”). Open AI releases never live up to expectations (or promises) and this is because LLMs are not the AI models that will get us to this future we are being sold. Look into what’s happening in the field of world modelling, this is the technology that could be the real game changer. It makes ChatGPT look like a glorified prediction model.
