The biggest argument I think for ai art is that it's the easiest way for someone who doesn't know how to draw to get something that looks good at surface level. And I understand that. I don't like it, but I understand it. However, I frankly would just rather learn how to draw and have that skill for the rest of my life than just get an ai art generator to churn up something that I would think is half decent. I love the feeling of satisfaction when I actually make something awesome, and I just won't get that if I use ai, which would just make me go, "yeah that works," and never think about it again. I really have to ask if people who use ai art actually experience the wonder of creation, because if not they're really missing out.
