so far AI art and text can not be copy protected. Multiple cases have come up and been struck down because judges consistently rule that human input (more than just tossing in some key words) is needed for copy protection. Same is true for the fellow who had a monkey take a selfie (or was it an ape, I forget) ..because a human was not taking the image, it could not be copy protected by the author..in this case a monkey and in the subject case, an AI.
If this continues to be true, it would be unwise for large businesses to invest in AI generated art, logos, etc. Anyone can use it. Anyone can resell it. As long as only humans can produce copy protected work, there will be jobs for them.
mind you, the coding and product of an ai generating art ap or program CAN be copy protected because it was created by a human....unless it was generated by an AI, too.
