People crash Tesla's. Using autopilot is like using cruise control. You are still driving the car and it is up to you to not crash into things when using autopilot. Autopilot is not full self driving and it will drive your car straight through a red light or do other things. It's for cruising down the highway with you holding the wheel the whole time. Stupid stories like this spreading false information fool the uniformed and invite law suits from Tesla.
