we have to have a intelligent machine, before we have hyper intelligent ones. And LLM machines like ChatGPT do not quailfy as intelligent, as they are simply regurgitating information. The LLM machines don't have intentionality, free will, emotions, intuition, or even thinking ability. So, there is nothing to fear. right at this moment we should fear the human intelligence running the country more than some future hyper-intelligent being.
