It is fascinating how chat GPT can "act" human with stutters and such but, it's easy to debunk it's self awareness. You only have to ask it personal questions like, "when did you learn to ride a bike" or "tell me about your first crush". The second you dig into it, the curtains close and you'll know it's an AI... Unless, as chat GPT had said, there is more complex programming going in.
