Im going through university education in robitics and one if the things we learn is the ethics of over automation. People need jobs, and governments complai that the birth rate is low, so a beneficial arrangements is for the government to regulate automation, insure jobs are avaibale and people will be more financially secure.
But it seems the mighty dollar is all that matters, after all a machine doesnt need healthcare, personal time etc. it works and it only breaks down from stress. No engineer cares for the ethical concerns, scientists and engineers only care for money so no one will raise their voice and say "Well hold on a second..."
