Why does she go to Dune as a way to understand the "AI" cult when Dune is already based on actual religion and its myth-building and messiah-inventing, with the goal of homogenizing and controlling large groups of individuals. Rather than citing pop-culture to highlight the dangers of religion it should become normal to cite actual religious doctrine to show its fundamentally deceptive nature.
