Fun fact: Contrary to popular convention, not even fingerprints are foolproof. It's exceedingly rare but there are confirmed cases of two individuals having fingerprints so similar that they're virtually impossible to tell apart even for the most sophisticated tech. Facial recognition is far more likely to get it wrong and they should have conducted way more testing and research before allowing an innocent to be incarcerated.
