Elon Musk convinced Illya to work for OpenAI in the early days. Illya is absolutely brilliant and one needs to look him up and listen to his interviews. Illya was on the board of OpenAI that fired Sam Altman. Although, that did not last very long and Sam was re-instated. I am sure one day there will be a movie made about the rise and maybe fall of OpenAI and the AI revolution.
