WTF? Wages for an agent? Rights? This is woke-level empathy. Anthropomorphism. We’re projecting human-being logic onto machine-being. This is a waste of moral efforts. We now have technology capable to work for us, humans (even if that means that we would work for AI, this technology will provide us with job opportunities). Let’s not confuse a tool with labour. This is exactly how bureaucrats operate, they think of all hypothetical scenarios and craft unrealistic frameworks to control just about everything that likely never happens, which ends up strangling innovation. The whole point of AI and robotics should be to make life easier, cheaper, and more efficient for people, not to rebuild a parallel bureaucratic metaverse.
