Is it a problem, or is it just AI using info it was given? I don’t think AI is racist, I think it works with what it is given, and if statistics say something, the AI says it. Like that there is a higher percentage of Latinos getting into gangs than Asians. Does it sound racist? Yes. But it is not a biased opinion, it’s just what statistics have shown. AI did nothing wrong, it’s just AI does not recognize humans’ sensitivity toward race. AI does not need to be fixed, we just need to perceive its data differently.
