It's interesting how pretty much all developed countries decided that inherited political power was a bad idea and hence got rid of it - because there's no guarantee that the people who inherit it are suited for wielding that power, and there's no (good/built in) way of taking it from them if they are not. But those same arguments can be made against inherited economic power, yet it is still sacrosanct to this day - I wonder if that will eventually change too? Even some rich people, like Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, with their pledges to give 99% of their wealth to philanthropy, seem to think that all this wealth is better off elsewhere than their childrens' bank accounts.
